The findings of this global research are important for both the short and long term.

  • The network was created by the London Business School (the UK) and Babson Business School (the USA) and has been operating since 1998;

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT INNOVATIONS FOR HORIZON 2020

(PE2020)

The implementation of the PE2020 involves identifying, analysing and developing new and innovative measures of public engagement in science (research projects, education programmes) seeking to ensure the dynamic state management.

The aim and objectives of the project:

  • to create a new policy evaluation instrument for the science policy actors which will enable to identify, evaluate and successfully transfer innovative public engagement experience between European countries
  •  to create 2-6 theoretical practices for public engagement in the decision-making processes. PE2020 will expand the possibilities of the European and national science policy actors to involve the public in decision-making by providing new instruments for open access public engagement that will be included in the Horizon 2020 programme’s requirements and implementation process.
