Invitation to contribute to social initiatives

Waiting for Christmas this year is special in all senses – the restrictions of the pandemic, the longing of colleagues, relatives, friends. Despite all instability, VU BS invites all members of the community – colleagues from VU, students, friends with their families, to unite and join the Christmas mission – to cheer up and take care of those who now need the support and attention from all of us.

 

VU BS administration staff has already raised money for volunteer furniture for Youth hotline

cares for children deprived of parental care. We collect gifts for children from 2 up to 18 years old - it might be everything: board games, headphones, toys, books, warm socks, cosmetics, a phone (which has long been in a drawer and no one needs it), everything that would be suitable for children and teenagers of this age. And it shouldn’t be necessarily new, it is important that it looks good and you cared about it with love!

 

For Caritas Social Assistance and Integration Center "Bethany" we collect food products: canned meat or fish, pasta, sugar, delicacies, cakes for Christmas gift baskets.

 

Christmas is caring, Christmas is sharing, so join the VU BS team, bring present marked Kids or for Caritas until December 15 (6 p.m.) to Business school, Saulėtekio av. 22.

 

A safe contactless festive gift-leaving place at the entrance to the building will be ready, so you will be safe!!
