While growing up with Harry Potter, studying in the UK has always been my childhood dream. I had many concerns and questions before going to the exchange due to the current situation in the world however, I am very glad that I did. Worcester is a beautiful historical city that locates in central England. At Worcester University, we had both- online lectures and face-to-face seminars for 3 months before everything moved online. In university there are many opportunities for students to join different societies, sports clubs, and associations. I was part of the badminton club, International and Women’s Network Association where we had weekly meetings and events. Besides from university modules, we had workshops and trainings which allowed us to acquire knowledge on business planning, marketing, entrepreneurship, and improve our soft skills. The experience has been a little different and unusual, yet, Worcester University has continued to show their best support and organized many online activities to engage with new students. Moreover, I was also able to visit and explore other cities in the surrounding and learn more about British culture, history, and traditions. I believe this exchange experience had an important impact on my personal growth and I am very grateful to Vilnius University Business School for this unique opportunity. |
Yunona Makhnovets our recent graduate of International Project Management program would like to encourage everybody to take a chance and go for Erasmus+ semester abroad:
Study abroad | Bilateral cooperation

Before arriving to Hong Kong, I thought that this was the city of skyscrapers, concrete jungle and nothing else. However, after spending five months in this far away country, I understood that Hong Kong was so much more than that… Due to a high worldwide university ranking of City University of Hong Kong studying there was not so easy. However, all of the professors were friendly and kind what made the online lectures more exciting. The online learning was fluent and a biggest advantage was an open library (cosy, modern, and most importantly – cool, which was always helpful because the temperature outside was over 35 degrees Celsius every day) where I could study silently with other students. Despite all of this, the best part is that all of this experience I am sharing is because of Vilnius University Business school. When studying at school I never imagined I will ever visit such exotic countries and Hong Kong is already the third Asian country I have been to because of the opportunities offered by Vilnius University! Hence, for all the students out there who hesitate whether to go on exchange or not, I believe the answer is clear from my experience above – it is a doubtless YES! |
Our student Zhengli Jin participated in bilateral exchange and spent a semester in Singapore! Here is how he describes his experience studying at Singapore Management University:

„Singapore is a very beautiful coastal country. Despite of its size, the city exudes modernity and beauty! As for quite young university, SMU modern campus has deeply shocked me. Also, I have never encountered such interesting teaching methods like at SMU! Every week SMU invites outstanding people from the financial sector in Singapore to lecture at the school and share their successful experiences – it has been nothing but a pleasure talking to them. Thank you very much Vilnius University, for giving me this opportunity“.
