VU Business School, in making socially responsible decisions, not only considers the impact on the environment but also aims to positively influence the mindset of the entire community. Observing waste sorting, monitoring the consumption of community members, and noting the number of collected containers, it was observed that people do not take deposit containers but leave them near the recycling bins. To ensure that deposit containers do not end up in plastic containers but contribute to the goodness of the Sharing is Caring mission, VU Business School has joined the socially responsible initiative of „Lidl Lietuva“!
Deposits collected at VU Business School will be sent to the nearest „Lidl Lietuva“collection points. The funds collected will be allocated to children's day centers, and the retail chain will double the contribution. „Lidl Lietuva“distributes this support to organizations overseeing children's day centers – "Save the Children", "Caritas", and the "The Order of Malta Relief Organisation".
We invite you, when visiting VU Business School, to leave your deposit in a specially marked place, thus making a socially responsible decision - not only to protect nature but also to take care of those who need help the most. Your discarded bottle is a support worth over 20 cents.
