My doctoral thesis, "The Impact of Country Branding on the Development of Startups," aligns closely with the expertise and leadership of both the state and Vilnius Business School (VU BS) in this field. So it was logical to choose VU BS, known as the "Home of Entrepreneurship," and I was so lucky to be accepted and to have Dr. Saulė Mačiukaitė-Žvinienė as my mentor.. The opportunities that VU BS has and which I used to the fullest allowed me to gain new knowledge related to startups, to make in-depth analyses of the development of the startup ecosystem in Lithuania, but also to meet and have an interview with people who are managers of Startup Lithuania, the Ministry of Innovation, managers in startup companies. Additionally, VU BS enabled me to attend events like GovTech Lithuania, Startup Lithuania Fair where I networked with many members of the startup community.. The time spent at BS was fantastic and this was an incredibly positive experience for me. At the end, like Arnold Schwarzenegger said in the movie Terminator 'I'll be back soon', see you soon BS
