Studies and Disability
Vilnius University is committed to fostering an inclusive academic community where every student—regardless of individual needs or disability—feels like a fully valued member. We embrace diversity and consistently work to ensure that all students have equal opportunities to pursue higher education.
We are proud that an increasing number of students with disabilities are choosing to study at Vilnius University. In our efforts to provide equitable conditions, we continuously improve the university’s physical environment, expand access to assistive technologies, and adapt the study process for students with mobility, visual, or hearing impairments.
Students are offered flexible study options, and, if needed, can receive consultations with specialists. Financial aid and other necessary support are also available to help ensure a smooth academic journey.
If you are a current or prospective student at Vilnius University Business School and have a disability—or experience learning difficulties (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorders, or mental health conditions that may require additional adjustments during your studies—we encourage you to complete the Individual Needs Form
before the start of the semester.
Disability Affairs Coordinator, Skaistė Grudzinskaitė (email: , phone: +370 5 219 3161), will contact you to discuss how your study environment can best be adapted to your needs.
We encourage students to actively express their expectations regarding study conditions. Only through cooperation and open dialogue we can effectively ensure the necessary support, promote independence, and facilitate full participation in academic life.
